“The way of life winds upward for the wise, that he may turn away from hell below.” (Proverbs 15:24)
As I read through Proverbs 15, verse 24 jumped out at me! If the “way of life winds upward for the wise…” I thought about a staircase and the steps we must take to GO UP into the greatness God has for us. Picture a staircase…
Step One: Conduct your life today according to the “good news” of Jesus, not the bad news of the world. (Phil. 1:27)
You will be faced with bad news just about every day of your life. Don’t be swayed or step down because of what “they” say. Rather, live your life, lead your life, manage your life according to what “HE” says.

Step Two: Persist in one Spirit and one mind. (Phil.1:27)

Step Three: Strive (Contend; get into Unity with someone) together for faith. (Phil.1:27)
By Step Three, the fight for “Greatness” has begun. The first two steps are about your decision to GO UP to Greatness, but you quickly discover that Greatness is not achieved without a fight, nor is it achieved alone! You have heard about “partners in crime,” it’s time for you to have a “partner in Greatness!”
“Assuredly I say to you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. Again I say to you that if any two of you agree on earth concerning anything they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am in the midst of them.” (Matthew 18:18-20)
