Jesus was ready with an appropriate response to whatever He faced. When someone was hungry, He fed them. When someone was sick, He healed them. When someone asked a question, He had an answer.
A great leader follows the example set by Jesus.
To do this, we must be ready both in and out of season. This becomes possible when we depend upon God and communicate with Him.
A leader does not make excuses.
Making excuses for why something didn’t get done will keep you from reaching your full God-given destiny. The antidote for an ‘excuse mentality’ is to initiate around your greatness – your unique fingerprint you have to leave an imprint that no one else can leave. This response makes possible what may have once seemed impossible.
