The pressure to look good, or impressive, or AT LEAST not embarrassing is a debilitating scourge on the ability of someone to accomplish great things. People pleasing is a trap that keeps us bound to the expectations and preconceptions of others.
The truth is that people spend a lot less time thinking of us than we imagine so don’t be imprisoned in the false penitentiary of other’s perceptions. Be bold, think higher, take risks, and live to impress the one voice that truly matters… your Heavenly Father!

Elevated thinking is not just about thinking differently, it’s about thinking BETTER. If we don’t think BETTER than we are just wasting our thinking! For anything to be better in my next thing, I have to think better than I did in the last thing.
The greatest battle you will ever fight will be against the way you currently think that has kept you where you are because of the way you are. This is because the formulation of thoughts (seeds) from your past have been planted in the soil of your spirit (heart) and are producing fruit (your character) that shapes your present. You have to be willing to uproot the negative and self-limiting thoughts and beliefs that have kept you bound up.
Your thoughts are the greatest and most powerful seeds you will ever sow!
Philippians 4:8 says it this way; Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.
How you think determines how your life goes and what in your life grows! How can you begin to think differently today? Think about what God’s word says about you (you are loved), about who you are (you are His child), and about what God has in store for you (He has a purpose and a plan for you… and it’s a great plan! Jeremiah 29:11).
