I believe that the greatest message ever written is found in the Bible—the Word of God. So, if life comes in words, Jesus came as THE Word. The Word became Sentences; the sentences Jesus spoke, which were “re-spoken” by His disciples, became life sentences that can sentence our life for the good. But not only that, the life sentences also become messages that create our experiences as we apply the Word to our lives.
To confirm my point, the Bible in 2 Peter 1:1–4 (NLT) says:
This letter is from Simon Peter, a slave, and apostle of Jesus Christ. I am writing to you who share the same precious faith we have. This faith was given to you because of the justice and fairness of Jesus Christ, our God, and Savior. May God, give you more and more grace and peace as you grow in your knowledge of God and Jesus our Lord. By his divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know him, the one who called us to himself by means of “his marvelous glory and excellence. And because of his glory and excellence, he has given us great and precious promises. These are the promises that enable you to share his divine nature and escape the world’s corruption caused by human desires.
As we look at this passage of scripture, we can see as we grow in our knowledge of the Word and apply these sentences to our lives, the message to us is that it is God’s power, which God has given to us. We have everything we need for living a godly life or experience.
Our experience in sharing His divine nature creates life lessons in which we learn to escape the world’s corruption caused by human desires.
Through His divine power, He has given you precious promises that only come through His Word. If you understand the power of His word, the Bible, and that you have been invited to be a partaker of this divine nature, and you begin to speak the Words of the WORD, you will sentence your life to greatness!
