Blind spots could be defined as areas in all of our lives that others see as obvious, but are oblivious to us.
Blind spots are ways that we come across that we think are perfectly okay, but actually, demand energy in other people, and cause more harm than good.
Blind spots are those areas of our lives where the people who love us the most, who could help us the most, choose not to go there because they know it won’t do any good. Therefore, any influence we could have in another person’s life is hindered by something we consider to be a strength in ourselves but is perceived as a weakness by other people.
In any given season in our life, we need to be able to identify what our blind spots are…especially in the tough seasons. Blind spots are things that we consider to be truth-full, f-u-l-l, but in actuality, we are truth-fool, f-o-o-l, because we have bought into something that is the truth that is not actually the truth, but just what we believe to be truth. That’s a blind spot!
We all have blind spots. What strategy have you developed to deal with your blind spots?
