All of us are given information. Information by itself does nothing for us. We may have received this information in school, or at our job.  The first lesson of becoming transformational is learning to value information. No one can ever determine for you what you are going to learn. So learn from everything!

  1. Your life lessons are your life lessons. You decide what experiences you learn from, good or bad.
  2. Learn from the mistakes of others. Make a choice to learn from the man next to the bridge with tattered clothing holding a sign that says, “the bridge is out”. You don’t have to experience everything for yourself – nor do you want to!
  3. What you learn is what you EARN.

When we decide to take the information presented to us and assimilate it, we build more earning power for the future because we gain the ability to be competent like we haven’t before.

Ask yourself these questions:

What are three areas of your life where you can move from transactional to transformational?

What experience have you had that you can back and learn new lessons from?

What are three ways you can learn from the mistakes of others?
