As I said yesterday, a big thanks again to all of you who participated in the chat, and helped us get to #5 trending in the US! Also to @dodomesticdad and @7onashoestring for helping to facilitate the party!

Here are the Questions and Answers from the twitter party yesterday. First I’ll list 6 questions that i answered and then, I’ll have some of the twitter user questions that were asked.

1. What is your definition of leadership?

Leadership is being your best for God, being your best for others, and being your best for yourself. Leading yourself is the hardest thing to do. Learn to lead yourself, so you can lead your family, so you can lead others.

@dodomesticdad – I think a leader should be a selfless person!

2. How do you know what your divine fingerprint is?

 In my book, Your Divine Fingerpring, I explain how God gave you a fingerprint to leave an imprint that no one else can leave. Your Divine Fingerprint makes you different from anyone who has ever lived, and will ever live.

3, How do you encourage gratefulness in your children?

Open your children’s perspective of the world, take them on missions trips to show them how blessed they are. We also taught our kids that it is impossible to be positive and ungrateful at the same time. If you teach your children to have a positive attitude, a byproduct of positivity is gratefulness.

@dodomesticdad – We take our kiddos downtown with us to serve the homeless food and clothes! It is a good start for them!

4. Do you have a meaningful Thanksgiving family tradition?

Sheila and I always encouraged our kids to go around the table and say one thing they were thankful for. Going around the table helped our kids learn what Thanksgiving was all about and the true meaning behind it. We would also be intentional about inviting someone through our thanksgiving that would have otherwise been alone.

5. Does your family have a mission statement?

Our mission statement is “Don’t allow the good to be the robber of the best.” Your family needs a mission and vision statement. It’s also important to establish your core values with your children. Sit down as a family and discuss what’s important to all of you and establish a vision for your family.

6. How do you help your children identify and develop their 1%?

It’s your job as a parent to see your children’s 1% in them first. Pray that God would show you your kid’s 1% and help you nurture it. Enable your child to do what they are passionate about. Participate with your kid in what they are interested in. It helps develop their 1% and you will spend quality time together.

@dsickles87 – What do you think is the biggest area in need of improvement for effective family leadership?

I would say establishing a healthy family culture based on core values.
