Go to Church! This is the first step you must take to stay on fire for God. Being in God’s house and surrounded by His people draws you close to Him. God wants you to draw near to Him … when you do, He will draw near to you!
“let us draw near to God with a sincere heart and with the full assurance that faith brings, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.” – Hebrews 10:22-25 (NIV)
There is something about God’s house! In 2014, Peter Haas wrote an article that highlights 5 jaw dropping benefits of church attendance. He found that going to church:
- significantly lowers risk of depression;
- allows for better time and life management;
- increases student’s overall achievement in school;
- significantly increases life expectancy; and
- improves your sex life.
When you attend church regularly, you start living your life with a transcendent cause. We believe at our church when you Elevate your thinking, you Elevate your life! Personal growth and development start in the House of God.
