“Blind Spots are the parts of you that you don’t see that keep you from being all that you can be.” – Leadershipology.com

Blind spots … we all have them. They are often obvious to others but remain oblivious to us. The bad part of a blind spot is that it is a BLIND spot. We simply can’t see what we can’t see. Blind spots are the parts of you that you don’t see that keep you from being all that you can be.

In order to SEE more so you can BE more:

  • See more of how your long-held habits are keeping you from Being in your present condition and situation.
  • Focus more on what you are Being with your heart than what others are doing with their hands.
  • See more of how to Honor, so you won’t Be ineffective.
  • Make your relationships more about giving honor where, when, how, and to whom you can rather than about what you can get.
  • See more with Understanding, so you can Be less offendable.

Psalms 119:165 (NIV) says, “Great peace have those who love Your law, and nothing can make them stumble.”

Remember:

  • Measurable success in one thing breeds overconfidence and the need to be right. But what’s important is not being right—what’s important is being open to learning.
  • See more beyond the natural so you can be more super-natural.
  • Expand beyond your understanding so you are standing on more than what is “under your standing.”

The fact is that everybody has Blind Spots but not everybody deals with them. It’s easier to point out the blind spots in others than to Discover our own, Develop a solution in ourselves, and Deploy our greatness by having dealt with the blind spots. In dealing with your blind spots, you move beyond normalcy and mediocrity to an elevated vantage point where you can see more and be more!
