“Nothing goes Up on the outside of your life until you Grow Up on the inside of your life.” Leadershipology.com

I shared the word “Grow” yesterday, as the word for the year. If you missed the post, the word GROW can be defined: to arise; to cause to develop and flourish; to cause to increase or expand by concerted effort; to progress to maturity.

Over the next few days, I will be blogging about the three things God has called us to “GROW up” in.

God has called us to do 3 things:

    1. To Grow UP in all things.
    2. To help other people Grow UP in all things.
    3. To cause Growth in the Kingdom of God.

“…that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ—

Ephesians 4:14-15

God has called us, to GROW up in all things. What are some things you need to GROW up in? Your marriage? Your business relationships? Your family relationships? Whatever it may be…God calls us to GROW up in all things.

Looking at the definition of the word, Grow, to increase and expand by concerted effort, causing increase and expansion, and progress to maturity. The word concerted comes from the root word concert. When everyone plays their part, it creates a concert that is a result of concerted effort. This concerted effort becomes an unstoppable force, causing increase and expansion and progress to maturity.

Having maturity does not mean that you are not affected by the way others make you feel, having maturity is about how you react to those feelings that demonstrate maturity.

How do we GROW up in all things…maturity!
