Give Up to Go Up

You need to give up in order to go up.

This quote actually has two meanings: First, “give up” means giving up to God. The principle behind this thought process is to always give where you want to go. Give up to God before you pay your bills, before you give to others, give up first.

Second, “give up” means to sacrifice. You have to be willing to give up something to gain something better. Anything you ever “give up” will help you “go up” because you can’t “give up” without “growing up.”
