The first characteristic of successful people is that they have a clear vision. They have figured out what it is that they really want from life. They have the “vision thing” going for them. Their lives are characterized by a sense of passion, purpose and meaning and they live accordingly.
On the other hand, the lives of people who aren’t sure of what they want are more likely to:
· have conflicting goals
· fail when attempting life changes
· give up when they meet with resistance or struggle
· experience anxiety, depression, physical illnesses, and other psychological and physical problems
Think about these questions.
· Do you have the “vision thing” going for you?
· Do you know what you want from life?
· Do your daily activities align with your long-range vision?
Most people are unable to answer yes to those questions. Remember, if you cannot see greatness in your mind’s eye, then you’ll never experience it in life. So, take some time to put pen to paper and draft a clear, well defined picture of what you want from life. In doing so, you’ll be following the path blazed by successful people who came before you… the path to igniting your passion, clarifying your purpose, and finding greater meaning in life!
