The fulfillment of any dream you have hinges on your personal commitment to excellence. I am convinced that is why most people’s dreams don’t come true. It is not because of the dream itself, but because the dreamer never allows the dream to extract, develop, and deploy the excellence that is within him/her. Somewhere along the way, he/she just gives up. The good news is God never gives up on the dreams He puts in your heart!
Your dreams demand a level of excellence only you can give them.
What is excellence? Excellence is not perfection. Perfection is doing the right thing because you want to look good. Excellence is a spirit, stemming from a desire on the inside of you to be the best you, you can be. “Excellence” is a biblical word. If you are going to win, you have to think biblical excellence.
Aristotle, the great thinker/philosopher, said, “We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but it is a habit.”
Allow your dreams to demand a level of excellence out of you that only you can give them.
Your dreams will come true … if you have the courage to pursue them.
Walt Disney said, “All our dreams can come true if we have the courage to pursue them.” So, whatever dreams you can dream, dream them! Then, have the courage to pursue and develop them with excellence!
