You will never enjoy what you could have until you enjoy what you do have.
If you have ever lost anything, you have experienced the discontentment that accompanies loss. Whether the loss of a loved one, money, pet, or something of less importance, it is easy to focus on what once was and now is lost.
I learned from Robert H. Schuller to not focus on what you have lost, but what you have left. The future is often clouded with the loss of the past. A brighter future begins with appreciating today. As you learn to appreciate what you have today, you will attract a ‘better than good’ tomorrow.
