“But he who is greatest among you shall be your servant.” – Matthew 23:11 NKJV

God’s servants are not people who just believe in Him. Nor are they people who simply strive to live with a biblical world-view and do the right thing. Rather, God’s servants are people who live with a transcendent cause – a cause beyond themselves.

God’s servants are extravagant.

Why extravagant? The word extravagant means: lacking restraint … evidenced by exceeding what is reasonable or appropriate. God’s servants are extravagant people who give their time, talent and treasure. They live not to make their own dreams come true … they live to make God’s Dream come true!
