The Bible says, in 1 Corinthians 9:24-27, “Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may obtain it and everyone who competes for the prize is temperate in all things. Now, they do it to obtain a perishable crown, but we, for an imperishable crown; therefore, I run thus not with uncertainty. Thus, I fight not as one who beats the air, but I discipline my body and bring it into subjection, lest when I have preached to others I myself should become disqualified.”
We are all running in a race. It’s not a competitive race, it is about destiny. We’ve all got to awaken our destiny. God has given each one of us a destiny to fulfill. You’ve got to be the one to awaken your destiny.
There are two ways to accomplish this, first know what time it is. Know what time it is in your life right now…Know what time it is spiritually…Know what time it is relationally…Know what time it is financially…Know what time it is! I’m talking about KNOW, what time it is in your life.
Don’t just know what time it is, but also prepare for your opportunities. All of us have opportunities. That’s what the verse from 1 Corinthians is saying, there’s a time and there’s an opportunity for each one of us. If I’m going to awaken my destiny, I’m the one that has to realize it’s my time, it’s my opportunity and I’m going to go for it.
Know what time it is and seize the opportunity!
