Don’t just ask ‘What do I want?’ Ask ‘What price am I willing to pay for what I want?’ –Leadershipology.com

Our desires stem from our passion. Don’t waste your passion on things that won’t take you where you want to go. Steer your passion and it will drive your desires to achieve what you really want in life.

I heard a man once say, ‘I used to see someone who had achieved great things and ask, “‘How did they do that?'” After a few successes on my own, I no longer ask that question.’ He said, ‘I now look at someone who has achieved great things and say, “‘I wonder what kind of price they had to pay to get to where they are?'”

What is it that you want? The price you are willing to pay determines how bad you want anything. The price is always worth it if the desire is NOBLE. If our desires are just about what we want, the price may be too high and the cost too great.

Steer your passion and it will drive your desire so that what you want is really what you want and worth the price that you paid for it. The greater the desire, the greater the price tag.
