“The fruit of all great accomplishment begins with the seed of intentionality.” – Leadershipology.com
What does it mean to be intentional? It means to be deliberate, to be on-purpose. Being intentional means to focus on consistently doing the right things, daily.
Successful people are intentional. They know what they are doing and why they are doing it. They are not haphazard … rather, they are consistently on purpose, making every action count. Both organizations and teams need intentional people who remain focused and productive. How intentional are you? Do you have a plan and purpose for everything you do in your day?
“Almost all success in life is a result of us being intentional … nothing good in life comes by accident or from us sitting around. We have to be intentional, we have to make up our minds.” – John Maxwell
The fruit of all great accomplishment begins with the seed of intentionality. For example, to have personal growth in life, you must be intentional with your learning agenda. Similarly, to have great relationships, you must be intentional about loving others the way they need to be loved. The more intentional you are about giving your all to that which you value, the richer everything (you choose to be intentional about) becomes. Why? In the end, what you sow is what you reap.
What is one thing today you need to be more intentional about?
