Giving is more than something you do, it is somebody you are. Being a Giver develops a mentality of prosperity, because the more you give, the more you receive. It is an antidote against scarcity, and every time you give, you overcome a poverty mentality that says “I don’t have enough!”

Giving yourself away can be as simple as encouraging someone. It’s the best part of you being given away. His grace and provision help us reach our full God-given potential as we give ourselves to God and others.

We do not give simply to receive, but to honor God first in every area of our lives … our time, talent and treasure. We’re living a life that God can truly bless. He can make sure the right doors open, the right alignments happen, and the right opportunities take place for us to walk in His blessing and favor!
There are two types of people: Givers and Takers. Givers are focused on God and others … they cause unity in relationships and sow seed that multiples into a harvest. Ask yourself today, “Am I a giver, or a taker?” and if you’re a taker … how can you be a better giver?
