“The greatest relationships are not built on trust, but they are built on values.” – Leadershipology.com

Great relationships are based on values, not trust. Trust can be broken when mistakes are made. But relationships based on shared values last beyond mistakes made.

God values relationships. To have a God-kind of relationship, there are three, value based non-negotiables which must be shared. They are:

  1. A Kingdom Mentality

God looks for people who have a kingdom mentality. You do this by making important to you what’s important to God. David was the man that God sought after, that had God’s own heart.

1 Sam.13:14

But now your kingdom shall not continue. The Lord has sought for Himself a man after His own heart, and the Lord has commanded him to be commander over His people because you have not kept what the Lord commanded you.”

Acts 13:22 NKJV

And when He had removed him, He raised up for them David as king, to whom also He gave testimony and said, ‘I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after My own heart, who will do all My will.’

  1. A Pro-sitive Attitude

God wants people in His life that are prositive – those who are proactively positive!

“A negative spirit (REACTIVELY) focuses on the negatives. A positive spirit (PROACTIVELY) focuses on the positives. Choose today to be Pro-sitive and you will always win.” – Leadershipology.com

“The most important thing you will ever control is the only thing you can control, your attitude.” – Leadershipology.com

  1. A Generous Spirit

God wants us to have a generous spirit because God is a generous God.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son…

For you so love people that you …

Matthew 5:48 MSG

“In a word, what I’m saying is, Grow up. You’re kingdom subjects. Now live like it. Live out your God-created identity. Live generously and graciously toward others, the way God lives toward you.”

Let’s be people who have great, God-kind relationships … people who value being kingdom minded, pro-sitive, and generous!
