It has been stated Abraham Lincoln said at an early age that ‘he would be President.’ If you look at his life, and the consistency and persistence of his actions, he became what he said he would become. He practiced in the halls of the Illinois Legislature, in the frontier courts, in the U.S. House of Representatives. He practiced being a servant to the people. He chose servant-leadership for his life even though he took a stand against slavery. And by practicing, he achieved his goal.

Here are three core principles you must choose to implement in your life to unlock your full potential:

1. Practice what you want to become.
Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, an influential German writer said “If I practice what I am, I will always be what I am. If I practice what I would like to be, that is what I will become.”
2. Don’t measure yourself against other people.
3. Be an acknowledger, not an agnostic.
An agnostic is one who believes nothing, which cannot be demonstrated by the senses; one who is doubtful and non-committal.

Apply the three core principles stated above and begin to ‘say what you hear so you can see what you say!’
