There is a “first” to everything. Many times we don’t place significant value on “firsts” until after the “first” happens. Here are some thoughts on “firsts.”

“You never have a second chance to make a first impression.” – Leadershipology.com

“Faith is taking the first step even when you don’t see the whole staircase.” – Martin Luther King, Jr.

“Setting goals is the first step in turning the invisible into the visible.” – Tony Robbins

“What you put first, determines how the rest of what you do, turns out.” – Leadershipology.com

Jesus said, “Seek first, the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things will be added to you. Therefore, do not worry about tomorrow…”. One of the secrets of a “worry-less” life, is to put God first. The “first” of all firsts, is to put God first. By strategically living this way, it will make you more mindful about the significance of other “firsts.”

Two “FIRST” things to do daily:

  1. Put God first today, before any other first of the day. (Matthew 6:33-34)
  2. Don’t just do things right … rather, do the right things by “doing life” God’s way. (Ephesians 5:15-17)

Finally, the secret to not worrying about tomorrow is putting God first today. Take a step today to put God first in every area of your life.

Make it a great day!
