When we are children, we don’t SEE things right and that is why we must be taught to DO things right first.
In the military, before you are allowed to enter into combat you go through boot camp. What is the purpose of boot camp? On the surface to the natural mind, it seems futile to go to bed early, get up early, make our bed perfectly, shine our shoes perfectly, and do everything we are told to do as perfectly as possible.
The real reason for boot camp is so you can learn to see things in the military “right” by doing what is right. You will never see things right until you do things right.
What could you be seeing wrong, because you are doing wrong?
Boot camp is exactly that. It is meant to help you to get your body and mind in sync to do the right thing every time and be able to the basic “right” things, the “right” way, at the “right” time. Think Right. Be Right. Do Right. Thank you Pastor for being my Life Drill Instructor.
