As you begin your Thanksgiving holiday I want you to ask yourself these three questions:

Do you see yourself as blessed?
Are you needing a blessing?
Are you intentionally a blessing to others?

Many times people walk around in their lives and are expecting God for a blessing … not realizing that THEY ARE the blessing. I want to challenge your thinking today and have you begin to see YOURSELF as blessed … so that you can be a blessing to others. Realizing that you have the ability to bless someone provokes not only a spirit of gratitude and thankfulness in them … but also in YOU!

Today I want to remind you that you are blessed with…
1. Your life! It is a gift from God and what you do with it is your gift back to God and others.
Ephesians 2:4-7 NLT

2. Gifts from God to project our unique gifts to others.
Ephesians 2:8-10 AMP

3. Even though it might not feel like it at the time, we are BLESSED from painful experiences because we gain wisdom and we can help others grow through their pain.
Proverbs 10:17 AMP

Take this challenge: today when you’re with your family and friends don’t think about, “What’s in it for me?” or “How can they bless me?” … Change your thinking to, “I will serve them” and “I will go out of my way to be a blessing to them.” Notice how the ATMOSPHERE around you and ATTITUDE of those around you change for the better. Remember that you are a thermostat, not a thermometer and you set the temperature in the room! Begin to see yourself as blessed today, so you can truly be a blessing to others!
