Choosing WHO you will go through life with is more important than any assignment you will ever have. In other words, your alignments are more important than your assignments. It is not WHERE you work that is most important, but WHO you work with. WHO is with you will always be more important than WHAT you are doing. It doesn’t matter what you do, how much money you make or where you are IF you don’t have the right people to share your life with.
When you choose the right people to be in your life, you are making the right choice to go up, to get better, to move forward and you will find fulfillment.
My dear friend Charles Tremendous Jones said, “Ten years from now you will be the summation of the books you have read and the people you meet.” Through books, we read the best part of what someone has to say. Through people, we experience the best and the worst part of what they have to say.
Choose people who have learned and personally grown from their experiences to grow through life with you. The people who add value to your life, are the people you should value the most in your life.
