He who is faithful in what is least is faithful also in much; and he who is unjust in what is least is unjust also in much. -Luke 16:10

To be faithful in something small does not literally mean a small thing. To be faithful in something that is little means to be faithful in something that you would see as insignificant.

Most of the time, becoming a leader requires two things:

  1. Doing things no one wants to do
  2. Not getting recognition for it

The things that we can view as the most insignificant things are often the things that we know that will not be seen.

“Whatever you do may seem insignificant, but it is most important that you do it.” –Gandhi

Why is it important for us to do the things that are insignificant or small? Because we prove to God that we can do what He needs to do regardless of the glamour of the task.

“When you take care of the little things, the big things take care of themselves.” –Leadershipology.com

We all want to have a great destiny and for God to use us … but we don’t want his training method. God’s training method in your life will be your faithfulness and consistency in the small things.

God’s recipe for success for you is for you to get more consistent and more faithful in what you know that you should be doing.
