Leaders choose to soar past limitations and excel in life. They take specific actions to accomplish this.
1. Surpass past Limitations
They determine what has been a limitation for them and ask what they can do about it. You can take this first step to soar past your limitations and become your best.
2. Overtake the ordinary with the Extravagant
Discover what makes you feel extraordinary, then develop those things. You don’t need others to validate you. Those who focus on the bad things build walls and are easily offended. If you develop those things that make you feel extraordinary, you won’t be easily affected or offended.
Deploy your extravagant self to others. Don’t be viewed as an ordinary person, but be the person who encourages others borne out of your extraordinary-ness.
“Here is a simple, rule-of-thumb guide for behavior: Ask yourself what you want people to do for you, then grab the initiative and do it for them. Add up God’s Law and Prophets and this is what you get.” Matthew 7:12 MSG
“You can have everything in life you want if you will just help enough other people get what they want.” Zig Ziglar
Pick the people in your life to help make their dreams come true. God will pick the people in your life to help your dreams come true.
3. Abound in Good Things by Being a Good-Finder
Look for the good in every situation. All successful people have this one thing in common: they are good-finders. All unsuccessful people have this in common: they are fault-finders.
Be the good in every bad thing. You aren’t going to change anyone else, but as you practice finding the good and showing enthusiasm for it, you will change yourself for the better.
Being negative has nothing to do with the people you’re around, your job, or your success. It has to do with you and, therefore, being negative has everything to do with the people you’re around, your job or whether you win or lose in the future. It’s about the position you take in life and the lens you use to see it.
As a leader, every day put good into your mind and spirit to help you realize your full God-given potential.
Enjoy the good things of God.
