We all have a fire that burns inside of us … it’s the spirit of God. The enemy of your soul knows what is burning inside of you and does everything he can to quench it.
He wants to:
quench your fire for life.
quench your fire of hope (that comes from knowing God).
quench your fire for marriage.
quench your fire for great relationships.
quench your fire for being a giver.
The enemy takes the fire out of you by getting you to settle for average … to be okay with being okay. But God did not design you to be “just” okay. He made you to win!
In 1 Corinthians 9:24 (MSG), Paul wrote, “You’ve all been to the stadium and seen the athletes race. Everyone runs; one wins. Run to win. All good athletes train hard. They do it for a gold medal that tarnishes and fades. You’re after one that’s gold eternally.”
